This group is really an offshoot/sibling to the DC/MD/VA Local Ski and Snowboard group. Since I want to keep that group mainly for snow related activities, I start this group so that the same people can plan events in the off season. So, this group is to help answer that horrid question "Now that the snow is gone, what should we do?"

Adventuring is the outdoor club for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community in the Washington DC area. Our volunteers lead hikes year-round, and in the warmer months we do recreational bike rides too, some shorter and others longer. That's not everything though.
